Allyson Felix
Allyson Nicole Felix was born November 18 of 1985 located in Los Angeles. She was the daughter of Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley as well as the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix's athletic talent was evident right from the day she was enrolled at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks after her very first tryout. Felix finished her high school year in 2003 and signed with Adidas an agreement as a professional athlete. Following that, she enrolled at the University of Southern California studying elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic gold medal during the Athens Summer Olympics 2004. Felix broke a junior-world record of running the 200m in 22.18. She became the youngest 200-meter world champion in the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007 beating her former Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top third of each of her races in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
