Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained minister at Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. And her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix was a natural athlete and developed a passion to sprint during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first trial she took, she was ranked second for 200m at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix signed a contract for a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003. She after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to pursue a degree in elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic award at 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s which set a new junior world record. She was the youngest winner of the 200-meter race at the World Championships in Helsinki in 2005. She defended her title once again in 2007, by beating time-tested Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently at the top of the podium across her diverse events at the Olympics held in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
